about

Winner of the 2008 Enigmy for “Most Enigmatic Album of the Year (Jazz)”, Mandelbrot Singularity is the seminal experimental jazz album that launched the Austrian CryptoJazz movement.

Keyboardist and composer Florian Weidenweiven weaves ten tracks of haunting mystery at the intersection of jazz fusion and avant-garde funk prog. Featuring analog electronica from the Fushigaku ZS-3 synth, heavily digitally processed piano, and impeccable odd-time signature grooves from the late drummer Fabian Johnson.

Also, this is a work of satire by comedy filmmaker and sometime musician Steven Rosenthal (stevenrosenthal.net) Don’t sue him.
